Scholarship Program

BACKGROUND

HomeStar Bank and Financial Services has provided financial services to the area since 1946. In keeping with its tradition of community service and commitment to the education of future civic and business leaders, HomeStar Bank and Financial Services established the HomeStar  Education Foundation, Inc. in 2001. 

Over its life, the Foundation will award millions in scholarship money to deserving high school students. 

We have 3 Scholarship programs in place.  One that is available to high school seniors who are the children or grandchildren of HomeStar Bank and Financial Services customers.  The second is available to high school seniors who are members of the Kankakee County Branch of the NAACP. The third is available to high school seniors who have a hispanic heritage.
